Industria devolverá 36 millones a Repsol, Cepsa e Iberdrola por aportaciones indebidas al Fondo de Eficiencia.
El Ministerio de Industria devolverá 35,79 millones de euros a Repsol, Cepsa e Iberdrola correspondientes a aportaciones indebidas realizadas al Fondo Nacional de Eficiencia Energética.
En una orden publicada en el Boletín Oficial del Estado (BOE), se reconoce estas devoluciones debido a que erróneamente se asignaron a algunas empresas obligaciones de eficiencia energética o a que algunas procedieron a ingresar una cantidad superior a la establecida.
En concreto, Industria reconoce derechos de cobro por los años 2014 y 2015 por un importe total de 36,41 millones de euros a 11 empresas, entre las que figuran, además de Repsol, Cepsa e Iberdrola; Gas Natural o Shell & Disa Aviation España.
En concreto, Repsol recuperará más de 19,4 millones de euros correspondientes a las aportaciones realizadas, Cepsa un total de 11,9 millones de euros e Iberdrola 4,4 millones de euros, todos ellos en el año 2014.
Estos derechos de cobro se realizarán con cargo al Fondo Nacional de Eficiencia Energética. El pago se efectuará por el Instituto para la Diversificación y Ahorro de la Energía como gestor del fondo contra la cuenta específica abierta en régimen de depósito para su operativa funcional.
El Fondo Nacional de Eficiencia Energética fue lanzado por el Gobierno en 2014 y los recursos del mismo se estableció que procedieran tanto de los Fondos Comunitarios (FEDER) como de las aportaciones obligatorias de las empresas comercializadoras de gas y electricidad, así como de los operadores de productos petrolíferos al por mayor.
Esta aportación obligatoria ha sido recurrido tanto por la Asociación Española de Operadores de Productos Petrolíferos (AOP), que representa a las principales petroleras del país, entre ellas también Repsol, BP, Galp, Saras y Shell, como por empresas a título individual.
